A. The Background of the Study
Everyone in the world ever hears the word “drugs “. But, not all people know about drug. In medical, drug used for treat sick people, for example paracetamol, ctm, diazepam, etc. But, a lot of people misuse it. They used it not for medicinal treatment, but to get side effect relaxing their mind, especially narcotic.
People used this drug (narcotic) to get many effect. Such as analgesics, stimulant, hallucinogen and making happy. Narcotics is kind of drug which have certain effect, very dangerous if it consumption doesn’t follow the advice, because of that reason; people must by controlled by doctor or physician. The abusers of narcotics not only adult, but a lot of young people used it too.

70% the user of narcotics and dangerous drugs is a student. That data from 4 million users of drugs (narcotics) which noted in Indonesia. In particular the ratio of young people abusing drugs, mainly marijuana, remains high.
“That number shows the presentage of drugs user in school age achieve 4% from all students in Indonesia “ Muchlis Catio said.

The spread of drugs become an epidemic in our society. A drug abuser by young people is a problem faced not only by Indonesia, but is also a serious social problem throughout the world. This spread not recognizes the status and the age of people anymore.
Beside the medicine from the doctor, we can find many substances which can give the some effect with narcotic, such as flower and leaf of marijuana, cactus and tahi sapi fungus. Many students’ abuses drugs because of their awareness were less, and they get influence from surrounding, or they just tread because embittered how was if they abuse drugs.
One of effect by abuse drugs is hallucinogen. If people use it for the first time, they can’t just stop used it, because of effect addicted from drugs. Some many characteristic of people who abuse drugs are: their behaviors were change, for example they usually a cheerful person, but suddenly become depressed people, angry without reason, they often feel sleepy, lazy, day dream, and don’t care about purity, become not discipline, their achievement was decrease, hide in a dark place, they steal everything to buy the drugs, nervous, worries, they look like an idiot or stupid, wearing sunglasses and their eyes were red.
The factors involved in the increase in incidence of drugs abuse are complicated, and although there is no clear, solid evidence, urbanization is thought to be a driving force in developing countries.
